TCM Consultation
A TCM consultation is where most home visits begin. Jelly asks about your health background and current concerns, and uses traditional diagnostic methods — including pulse-checking and tongue observation — to build a picture of your overall balance before suggesting which therapies might be appropriate.
This page describes what this treatment is traditionally used for in traditional Chinese medicine. It is not a promise of any particular outcome, and it is not a substitute for medical care — Jelly will refer you to a medical doctor when that is the appropriate next step.
Traditionally used / sought for
- Understanding your health background through a TCM lens before other treatments
- Deciding which therapies (acupuncture, Tuina, cupping and others) may suit you
- Ongoing check-ins to track how you're feeling over time
What to expect at home
This is usually the first thing that happens on a first home visit, whatever treatment you eventually book — it takes a bit of extra time up front, but means everything after it is tailored rather than generic.
